The Succession of Madame B: An Apartment Decorated by Claudio Briganti

19 June 2023

On Thursday, June 29, PIASA is organizing the sale of the entire collection of an aesthete passionate about grand French style, which masterfully combines several periods and influences.

Inspired by Italian palazzos and the grand French style of the 18th century, but also by English Regency creations, this sale brings together a range of exceptional furniture, objects, and works of art, such as a set of Black Basalt cookies by Wedgwood & Bentley, two bookcases with violet and rosewood leaves, a large rug (8 x 5.5 m) woven at the Royal Spanish Manufactory, and inks on paper from China.
