Production celluloid drawing in Indian ink and acrylic by Yo Ominae, the young teenager and protagonist of the film; in this scene, he is seen wearing his cybernetic armour, the Orichalcum Muscle Suit, Ominae is seen wearing this armour in particular when the American Corps sends elite soldiers and cyborgs to infiltrate the ARCAM Foundation’s excavation site. It is in this armour that he is seen fighting Fatman and Little Boy, with whom he shares a dark past; indeed, Major Fatman was Yu’s commander-in-chief when he was part of the secret operations unit COSMOS, and it was he who brainwashed and conditioned Ominae to become a soulless, remorseless killing machine before -regained his senses and massacred the entire unit before fleeing, leaving Major Fatman as the sole survivor, seriously injured and subsequently transformed into a heavily armed cyborg.
