Born in Verona, Italy, Vigna is a sculptor and designer, and is mostly renowned for his work with glass and jewellery. He designs jewellery for films, plays and operas and for fashion designers. He works with Pier Luigi Pizzi, Peter Greenaway, Bernardo Bertolucci and Wim Wenders among others. His work highlights the raw beauty and hidden potential of natural materials and his interest in glass led him to collaborate with Venini in Venice. The suppleness of string, the strength of stone, the transparency of glass, the light of gold and the energy of magnets are the keystones of his work in body adornment.
