In the early 1960s, Demaret created an association called ‘L'atelier Demaret’ (The Demaret Workshop), bringing together leading Belgian jewellers such as André Lamy, Claude Wesel, Bernard François and many others. His jewellery is recognisable by its unusual and unconventional shapes. It is made of yellow gold with pearls, opals and South Sea pearls.
