This magnificent painting belongs to the Pointillist period of Dado, a great admirer of Seurat (he mentions this artist in "Bathers at Asnieres", interviews conducted by Michel Faucher).
This Pointillist series was produced over a very short period, 1961-1962, with "Adam and Eve" being one of its masterpieces. Here, we can assume that real people are portrayed, such as the little girl in an apron on the left, likely a reminiscence of a villager observed in Courcelles-les-Gisors, those anonymous figures from the Vexin region that Dado so loved to depict. Plant motifs and toys are also present, alongside a blue creature (a centaur?) on a skateboard.
