PIASA invites you to its Scandinavian Design auction on Wednesday 28 May at 5 pm (CET).
Through a selection of around 200 lots, this sale proposes a journey through the extraordinary creativity and diversity of Design in Scandinavia from the early 1910’s to the mid 1960’s, bringing together works by the major Danish, Swedish and Finnish designers of the 20th century - Axel Einar Hjorth, Josef Frank, Peder Moos, Poul Henningsen, Finn Juhl, Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Alvar Aalto and many more. A large selection of rugs from iconic artists such as Marta-Maas Fjetterstrom, Marianne Richter, Barbro Nilsson or Ingegerd Silow will also be offered.
An exhibition is dedicated to the collection at 118 rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré 75008 Paris.
