2 417 400 euros for the online charity sale to benefit #ProtegeTonSoignant
Composed of 369 lots gathered in the space of barely 48 hours, the online charity sale organised by PIASA at the request and under the impetus of its president and shareholder Laurent Dumas from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 April 2020 raised 2 417 400 euros.
The fruit of the considerable outpouring of solidarity from all the players in the art market, this exceptional amount will be fully paid back to the care workers through the #Protege TonSoigant
PIASA was very honoured to be able to orchestrate such a sale for a cause as just and fundamental as this one and wishes to thank as much the generosity of the donors (the whole eco-system of the art world) as that of the 851bidders and buyers.
The Protège Ton Soignant project is a multidisciplinary team of doctors, medical professors, entrepreneurs, artists and committed citizens with the mission to help and support the caregivers who fight against Covid-19 on a daily basis. Its action is carried out in close collaboration with public authorities and all stakeholders.
