PIASA is very pleased with the result of the Modern and Contemporary Art auction held on October 19th.
The sale was largely based on paintings from the second half of the 20th century. The results obtained are proof of a very dynamic French scene, notably around narrative figuration (Télémaque, Rancillac, etc.).
The modern part of the auction was also very successful, with a very significant piece by Majorelle, for example, selling for €57,200.
