Brussels, Tuesday 18 December 2018, with a total of 2.05 million euros, PIASA for its second sale organised in Brussels is once again a great success with Belgian and international collectors.
The first part of the session dedicated to Ado Chale's creations was marked by numerous significant auctions, once again imposing PIASA as a key player in the post-war design market.

The most beautiful auction of this opus goes to the high table in mosaic of turquoise chips that has found a buyer for 97 500€.
Another remarkable bid for the pair of "Goutte d'eau" pedestal tables, estimated at €14,000 to €18,000, which after an auction battle was sold for €61,100.

A second high table in hematite mosaic aroused a strong interest from collectors, estimated at €14,000 to €18,000, this one was sold for €83,200.
The session also featured a selection of pieces by the greatest Italian and Brazilian designers. The dining table of Jose Zanine Caldas, a unique piece, has been purchased for 39 000€. Angello Lelli's ceiling lamp, estimated at €8,000 to €12,000, won the very fine €36,400 auction, including expenses.
