George Nakashima has left his mark on the history of interior architecture through his meticulous and passionate work with wood, an aesthetic he cultivated throughout his life. Born in 1905 in the city of Spokane, Washington, Nakashima drew inspiration from the vast wooded expanses that characterized his native environment, thus imbuing his work with a deep connection to nature.
