At the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement, 118 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré will host two events in March dedicated to enthusiasts of fashion, design, and contemporary creation.
REI KAWAKUBO & COMME DES GARÇONS: HOMME PLUS, 1980–1999
From March 12 to March 23, an online-only sale highlights the work of Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, a major figure in contemporary fashion and the founder of the house Comme des Garçons.
The pieces on offer reflect the radical aesthetic that has shaped Kawakubo’s reputation: deconstructed silhouettes, unexpected volumes, and a conceptual approach to clothing. During the 1980s and 1990s, the designer established herself as one of the most influential voices in fashion, challenging traditional notions of beauty and structure.
A presentation of the lots will be organized in Paris, allowing collectors and enthusiasts to examine selected pieces ahead of the auction:
13 March 2026: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
14 March 2026: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
ART + DESIGN. THROUGH THE EYES OF SUZETTE RICCIOTTI
Alongside this event, a second sale titled “Art + Design. The Perspective of Suzette Ricciotti” will take place on Wednesday, March 18 at 5:00 PM in an OnLive format.
This selection proposes a dialogue between art and design through a series of objects and works chosen by Suzette Ricciotti, whose perspective highlights creations where formal experimentation meets artistic sensibility.
A partial exhibition of the lots will also be accessible on the following dates and times:
13 March 2026: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
14 March 2026: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Two Events for Collectors
Between the experimental fashion of Rei Kawakubo and the artistic selection curated by Suzette Ricciotti, these sales reflect the growing interest of the market in pieces marked by strong creative signatures. For collectors as well as lovers of design and fashion, March promises to be a privileged moment to discover—or acquire—significant works of contemporary creation.
