PIASA is pleased to present two auctions next Tuesday, November 25: the onlive sale of Alexandre Vauthier’s former studio at 4:00 PM, followed by the live auction of Contemporary Design, ceramics, rugs & artist tapestries at 5:00 PM.
The pieces from the Contemporary Design, ceramics, rugs & artist tapestries sale will be exhibited at 118, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (Paris 8th) on the following dates and times:

Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Monday, November 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
The auction dedicated to Contemporary Design, ceramics, rugs & artist tapestries brings together 159 lots from designers as well as visual artists who have worked with clay and textile media.
A wide range of contemporary creation — from the most historically significant pieces to the emerging scene — is represented through furniture, lighting, and objects by Ettore Sottsass, François-Xavier Lalanne, Maria Pergay, Ron Arad, Ado Chale, Philippe Anthonioz, to name just a few.
This sale will also feature unique works by contemporary artists, including a ceramic piece by Giuseppe Capogrossi or Antoni Tàpies, as well as rugs by Peter Halley, Stephan Balkenhol, Günther Förg, and Jenny Holzer, among others. A unique rug by Alexander Calder, “Moon and Sun,” made by the artist for his neighbor Calcott Clapp in the 1970s, is also included in this auction.
