PIASA is privileged to present at auction during this first sale on October 14 a selection of works from the Geneviève and Jean-Paul Kahn Collection, Part II: The Surrealist Woman. This exceptional collection of 49 extremely rare lots consists of paintings, works on paper, and sculptures, all selected with the utmost care, taking into account both the intrinsic quality of the compositions and their dates of creation.
The second sale on October 16, which brings together 86 lots, includes an exceptional work by Georges Mathieu dated 1957, an oil on panel by Brauner from the 1937 series of metaphysical faces, and finally, in the post-war section of the sale, a huge Totem by Chaissac from 1962.
