On Wednesday June 14, PIASA is organizing a sale dedicated to furniture design from the late 20th and 21st centuries.

Once a year, PIASA organizes an ayctuib featuring design from the last two decades. While the selection features several sets of pieces by the same designer (Studio Job, Christian Liaigre, Elizabeth Garouste, India Madhavi, Eric Chevallier, among others), it is also enriched by objects that are particularly emblematic of certain designers' production. Examples include the Cake Stool made up of a multitude of plush toys by Fernando Campana & Humberto Campana, the Big Easy Volume in stainless steel by Ron Arad, and the iconic Orgone Stretch Lounge by Marc Newson.

Marc Newson (born in 1963)
Orgone Stretch Lounge - N°5/6
Estimate: 350000 / 450000 €
The catalog also offers a delightful journey into the world of Italian design, inspired by such tutelary figures as Ettore Sottsass, Andrea Branzi, Gaetano Pesce, and Alessandro Mendini, who are also represented in numerous pieces.
