From Thursday 19th to Tuesday 24th of November, the specialists of the PIASA Jewels and Watches department present an online auction dedicated to artists' jewels and designer jewels.
This speciality of the department will be highlighted through a set of jewellery which are then considered as real miniature portable works of art. The artists that we present in this sale do not have a main activity as jewellers but have tried their hand at this universe.

This collaboration was the subject of a historical work by Barbara Radice, Ettore Sottsass's wife, entitled Jewelry by Architects (1988). Jewels became small, portable architectures and thus catalysed all the post-modern research of these prolific artists. They become miniature witnesses of a desire to push back the boundaries of industrial design and jewels.
