In 1993, Artur Miranda, Portuguese, founded his house of interior architecture and furniture design after a first career in couture, following his Fashion and Design studies in Porto and a formative trip to Sweden. Two years later Jacques Bec, the Frenchman, joined him. He is a graduate of Esag Met de Penninghen, a higher school of design, graphic Art and Interior architecture in Paris. Fascinated by theatre and opera, he loves the opulence of 18th and 19th century sets and dresses like a star on Front Row (first row of a fashion show). Logically, therefore, they have a huge common dressing room in their large house near Porto.
