Italian Design

12 October 2023

On Thursday October 19, 2023, PIASA is holding an auction dedicated to 20th-century Italian design. Featuring 212 lots, the sale offers a remarkable overview of Italian furniture production from the 1930s to the early 1970s.

This autumn sale features pieces by architects and designers who are at the origin of this scene's international renown, and whose creations have become today's references.

Renowned for the extreme quality of its glass objects, notably lighting fixtures, this design publisher is also present through more hybrid furniture and accessories that combine glass elements with wood, as well as certain pieces stamped Max Ingrand, who was the company's artistic director for a decade, starting in 1954.
