PIASA is organising a Modern and Contemporary Art auction on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Featuring 103 lots, this auction is articulated around several groups of works that offer a panorama of contemporary art, both in its French and international dimensions, from World War II to the present day. The selection includes works by César, Arman, Fred Deux, David Mach, Wim Delvoye...
This last Modern and Contemporary Art auction of the semester offers a singular look at the great diversity of artistic creation over the past half-century. The auction catalogue features nearly 70 artists, including renowned figures such as Meret Oppenheim, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Arman, Ben, Olivier Debré, Gudmundur Erró, Sonia Delaunay, Roberto Matta, Henri Michaux, Sean Scully and Gaston Chaissac. Visual photographers such as William Wegman, Andres Serrano, Bernard Plossu... and a few artists from the contemporary scene such as Wim Delvoye, Marlène Mocquet, Michel Blazy, Lionel Sabatté...
