Burle - N°1/8
Estimation : 20000 / 30000 €
OITOEMPONTO is an architectural and interior design agency, founded in 1993 by Jacques Bec and Artur Miranda, and based between Paris and Porto. Passionate about fashion, theater, opera and history, they design interiors of cultivated luxury, embodied by a style that combines their glamorous eclecticism with the lifestyles of their international clientele.
This sale, the result of the encounter between the duo, auctioneer Frédéric Chambre and the AD magazine team, paints a portrait of OITOEMPONTO's non-standardized taste. The selection of vintage pieces found all over the world and collected for decades for their own use expresses their passion for noble materials and pure lines. The flagship pieces also include contemporary pieces created by the studio for projects including a "couture" screen, a sumptuous sofa from the Nossabossanova collection and a lacquer and bronze cabinet, rediscovered during the Paris Design Week 2020 preview.
