Silas Seandel: America’s Master of Metal
Silas Seandel has been creating unique sculptured furniture, at the crossroads of Art and Design, since the 1960s. PIASA are paying tribute to this master of metal with a selection of about forty works made at his historic studio in the heart of Manhattan. Seandel gives metal the aura of the noblest materials, and his furniture is keenly sought by decorators – and his wall sculptures and monumental installations by architects.
